What is actually wrong

Nine out of ten "broken" doors need one small part

The glass is almost never the problem. The parts that wear out are cheap, hidden, and fast to swap when you have them on the truck.

Rollers

Door drags, grinds, or takes two hands

The steel wheels under the panel flatten and seize after years of sand and salt air. The door then rides on the frame, not the wheels.

New stainless rollers, panel re-hung and leveled.

Track

Door jumps, catches, or came off the rail

Worn rollers chew a groove into the aluminum track. Once the rail is pitted, new wheels alone will not last.

Stainless track cap fitted over the old rail. No demolition.

Lock and handle

Will not latch, key spins, handle loose

Mortise locks and handles are standard sizes. Most fail from a bent hook or stripped screws, not the door.

Lock replaced and aligned so it catches on the first pull.

Glass

Cracked, chipped, or fogged between panes

Fog means the seal failed. A crack means impact. Either way the frame is fine and stays where it is.

Glass unit replaced in the existing frame, impact-rated when required.

Screen

Screen torn, sagging, or off its track

Screen frames bend easily and pets go through mesh. Both are quick fixes.

Re-screened or new frame, pet-resistant mesh available.

Weatherstrip

Water, noise, or bugs getting in

The felt and rubber seals dry out and pull away. You feel it as a draft and see it as a puddle after rain.

Seals replaced along the full frame.

How a visit goes

One visit. One price. Done.

Most doors are finished the same afternoon you call.

1

You call or send the form

We ask a few questions and book a window, often for the same day.

2

We inspect and quote on site

A tech lifts the panel, checks rollers, track, lock, and seals, and writes one price. Estimate is free.

3

We repair right then

Rollers, track caps, locks, and handles are on the truck. Glass is measured and set on a return visit.

4

You test it before we leave

The door should glide with one finger and lock on the first pull. You pay when it does.

Repair or replace

We will tell you when replacing makes sense. It rarely does.

The replacement quote

New door, new frame, new headache

Questions we hear every day

Straight answers

How much does a sliding door repair cost?

Roller and track jobs are the most common and the least expensive. Glass replacement depends on size and whether impact glass is required. You get one written price after the free in-home inspection, before any work starts.

Can you really come today?

Most days, yes. Call before noon and there is a good chance the door is fixed by dinner. Weekend appointments are available.

My door is very old. Can it still be fixed?

Almost always. Rollers, tracks, locks, and handles are standard sizes and we stock parts for doors from the 1970s to today.

Do you fix doors for condos and rentals?

Yes. We work with homeowners, landlords, property managers, and HOAs, and we can bill the owner directly.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. A technician comes out, inspects the door, and gives you a price. If you say no, there is no charge.
